About Oltepesi Tented Safari Camp
Oltepesi Tented Safari Camp is an eco safari camp located in Maasai Mara in Kenya founded in 2017 by Norwegian wildlife photographer Arnfinn Johansen and Maasai guide John Siololo, also known as Big John. The camp is made to meet the needs of professional wildlife photographers, nature photo enthusiasts and wildlife lovers. The photo camp offers the very best guides in Maasai Mara with many years of experience working with demanding nature photographers. With the best guides and specially modified vehicles for photography – where you both have a good overview and can do low-angle photography – the guests get the opportunity for prime wildlife experiences and first-rate images. The camp also arrange for off road license, and do full day game drives in the very best light. Walking safaris also are offered.
The camp is located in Oltepesi Village which actually is a genuine Maasai village. This way you also have an unique opportunity to get to know about the Maasai way of living adding an interesting aspect of true cultural experience to your journey. In the village you can feel like home and also do photographing and filming as much as you like without asking permission first. If you like also you can stay a night in a traditional Maasai house.
