2) Nordic Mammal Image of the Year: All images of mammals photographed in the Nordic countries can be submitted here. Images can depict a portrait, action, animals in the environment etc. You can enter a maximum of five images.

6) Nordic Creative Nature Image of the Year: Ignore documentary demands and let your imagination run wild. Look at nature in a new and refreshing way by concentrating on shape and colour, contrasts, movement – or something completely different. You can enter a maximum of five images.

7) Threatened Nordic Nature: A separate category focusing on threatened nature in the Nordic countries. Images can include red-listed species or images which best visually document threats to the biological diversity. These threats can constitute development, pollution, crimes against wildlife etc. You can enter a maximum of five images.

2^nd Prize: Gift voucher, worth NOK 1,500 from Fotovideo.
3^rd Prize: Gift voucher, worth NOK 750 from Fotovideo.

8) Travel Photo: This is a separate category for the nature photographer who likes to travel. The images can be taken at a travel destination anywhere in the world and must be taken on one and the same tour. A portfolio of six images must be submitted.

2^nd Prize: Gift voucher, worth NOK 1,500 from Fotovideo.
3^rd Prize: Gift voucher, worth NOK 750 from Fotovideo.

Nordic Nature Photographer of the Year: A winner among all category winners, except for Travel Photo, will be selected. He/she wins a Canon 5D Mark III to the value of NOK 27,500 from Canon.

Young Nordic Nature Photographer of the Year: You must be under the age of 18 and can submit a maximum of six images from the Nordic countries. Free choice of subject, but the images must be related to nature.
